horse, woman

DVM

I grew up and lived in Southern Ontario until graduating from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1994.  I began practice in Calgary, Alberta at an Emergency Clinic.  I moved on to an associate position at a rural practice in Melita, Manitoba.  Never one to avoid change, I married in 1995 and began living in Winnipeg, Manitoba and have been here since.  I enjoyed Veterinary work in rural practice and small animal clinics throughout the city and stayed home full-time for 7 years to raise my three children.  Returning to practice found me at Academy Road Spay and Neuter clinic, after 10 years there I found I was ready for another change and so I joined the team at East St. Paul Animal Hospital in February 2017.  Cases of particular interest to me deal with Behaviour, Skin, Geriatric, and Ophthalmology.

I am a farm kid at heart that grew up in the city. Our small home is full with my grown family, 3 large dogs and 1 small cat.  I dream of living on an acreage one day but unfortunately my family has to deal with a pseudo hobby farm I have created in Winnipeg.

I enjoy gardening, quilting, volunteering at my church and horseback riding, competing in both Hunters and Dressage.
