I was hired at the East St Paul Animal Hospital in February, 2002. I started on a part time basis as a receptionist while I finished high school in Selkirk, MB. I started working in construction full time after high school, then opening my own company in 2005. I continued working part time at the clinic, doing evenings and weekends. In April 2009, I decided my passion was in animal care and started working full-time at the clinic. Soon after starting full time I became the Office Manager of the clinic and have completed my certificate in Humane Resource Management through Red River College. I grew up in West St. Paul, MB. as the youngest of 5 children in my family and always had a strong love for all animals. My home now consists of my 2 human boys, Cody and Blake, 3 large dogs; Blue, a German Shepherd/Border Collie Mix who was diagnosed with Addison’s Disease in 2012, Onyx, our American Bulldog Mix, and Bae, our Bull Mastiff Mix. Our 3 cats are; Frosty, a pure white senior who suffered from frost bite before he came to our home, Twitch, our black and white tuxedo boy, and Kitty, our only girl in the bunch, a pretty, dilute calico cat.
